Rationale:  The supplemental components of the Everyday Math Program support the new Common Core Standards in Mathematics. During the 2010-2011 school year, the teaching staff at Alfred Vail identified the need to implement the supplemental techniques and strategies to achieve maximum implementation of the Everyday Math Program. As a result of a finer level of implementation there will be a greater level of achievement measured by the End-of-the-Year Math assessment in the 2011-2012 school year.
