In January Mr. Stocker's second grade class had the privilege of hosting a presentation by Mr. Charles Haas.  He is an expert on the Titanic and has actually traveled to the ocean floor twice to visit the wreck.  Mr. Haas has co-authored books about the Titanic and we had the opportunity to purchase Titanic: Destination Disaster.  Mr. Haas graciously volunteered his time for this event and even signed the books.  We thoroughly enjoyed his multimedia presentation and his unique responses to our questions about the Titanic.
